About Me

Hey, I’m Mac! I grew up in the Midwest and have called Colorado home for nearly a decade. These days, I work full-time — but when I’m off the clock, I’m chasing adventure, whether that’s a weekend road trip through the mountains or a long-haul flight to somewhere new.

My love for travel started back in college. While studying in Indiana, I spent a summer working at Sanborn, an adventure camp in Colorado, leading kids on backpacking and camping trips that sparked my passion for the outdoors. I also spent several seasons traveling across the U.S. setting up golf tournaments, which gave me a front-row seat to the beauty and variety of places I might have otherwise missed.

But the thing that’s stuck with me most? The people. Some of my favorite travel memories come from spontaneous conversations with locals, the unexpected kindness of strangers, and shared laughs with fellow travelers. The places are incredible — but it’s the people who make them unforgettable.

I didn’t drop everything to travel full-time (props to those who do!). I’ve found my own rhythm — balancing work, life, and a steady dose of adventure. Pack With Mac is all about that balance.
