Finished my first half marathon this past weekend in Moab! 8:23/mile pace to finish in 1 hr, 49 min. My goal was under 2 hours (~9 min miles) because I’m not a runner. Maybe I am now - idk what classifies someone as a runner but I don’t love running so not a runner in my book 😂

Michaela: “did you get a runners high?”
Me: “no, not at all. It was hard the entire time”

Ended up running into “Superman” before the race. I met him a few months back in CO, when he was doing a marathon on the Manitou incline (guys an animal). Then I ran into him AGAIN after the race when we both happened to be on the same hike in Arches National Park.

Lastly, got to hang (and roadtrip) with 2 homies and my wifey so 10/10 weekend in one of my favorite areas

The last 3ish months! I keep wanting to post more, but then life flies by and I don’t care enough. Trying to remind myself to slow down and enjoy the ride!! There’s so much to be grateful for on this beautiful planet. Lots of fun adventures recently from house parties to hiking to shredding. Pics from all over Colorado, Taos NM, and Utah!

Michaela and I backpacked 20 miles from top to bottom, through the Narrows, in Zion National Park! The first day was 12 miles, then we camped in the canyon next to the river, and hiked 8 miles the next day. Such a cool experience!

Part 1 of my European adventures!

I feel super blessed for receiving the opportunity to travel internationally for work. I went to Lyon, France for 2 weeks. I got to kick it with my 2 best French homies, who showed me an unreal time in the gastronomy capital of the world!!

I literally drank and ate everything offered including pigs snout, pigs feet, intestines, octopus, and more things I cannot pronounce. Since I don’t know the name of stuff in French, it was easy to eat whatever was in front of me 😂

We also got to hit up the last rugby game of the season for Lyon, so overall 10/10 work trip that was mixed in with a ton of fun!
